He has also served at John Keells Investment Bank, Waldock Mackenzie and Union Bank of Sri Lanka.
He is a Director of the Colombo Stock exchange, and a former Director of the London Stock Exchange. He holds a degree in Management from the University of Wales, Cardiff and is a fellow of CIM (UK). He has been a director of the Keells Foods group and is currently on the boards of Informatics Institute of Technology and Ex-Pack Corrugated Cartons PLC. He is a member of the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka.
